Told me all about the weather there in june
How they suffer, from the heat
I think she's tryin' to tell me they believe they've got us beat


I said, "I know where you are coming from, although I disagree
Because of this ingredient we call humidity"
When she felt the Dixie sun
I believe I heard her saying to no certain anyone..


It's Hot… It's Hot down here.. It hot..so hot down here
I need a bigger air conditioner and a huggie for me beer
Its'Hot.. hot down here , its hot


I feel the perspiration drippin' down my skin
Hardly done a thing, I'm showerin' again
Got an oven - for a car
96 degrees an hour after dark

Run for cover-- in the shade
Go to Canada you'll really have it made
Call the weatherman- dirty names
